Jenny studied Drama and Education at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, before commencing her career as a freelance actress. Whilst continuing to perform, she studied again at The London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA - now Arthaus Berlin), specialising in the Jacques Lecoq pedagogy for performance - skills she brings to her work as a director, writer, performer and movement facilitator today.

In 2001, with strong impro and comedy skills, Jenny was given a written reference by BBC Producers - as an 'elite performer' - in open auditions for a new comedy show, and went onto make her TV debut in BBC 1's 'My Hero' in 2003. Jenny then performed with the London Impro Comedy Troupe, 'Improvedy', throughout 2004, before writing and performing her own one woman show, 'the fourth photo' in 2005 - winning the 'Lost One Act Theatre Festival'.

Jenny has directed, movement directed, written, co-devised and performed in numerous stage plays including national, and international, tours with theatre companies such as Punchdrunk, Point Blank, AOD, Scary Little Girls, and DreamThinkSpeak and performed at venues including Theatre Royal Haymarket, The Royal Opera House London, Hampstead Theatre, The Crucible Sheffield, The Manchester Royal Exchange and The Traverse Theatre Edinburgh, as well as playing Helen of Troy in the amphitheatres of Greece and Turkey. Roles have included a 60's rock star, a brain-washing librarian, Dracula's clown and a WW2 German spy.

Jenny's writing career includes various produced stage plays, short films, poetry and stories. Jenny became a published writer for the first time in 2007 with her short story ' ...but that's who you are' and went on to receive Arts Council funding to film two co-written/ co-directed shorts in Budapest and Milan. Her play for a female ensemble, 'Trouble and Strife', received its book launch in March 2015 with a rehearsed reading at The Curve, Norwich and her spy thriller, 'Station IX', was performed as part of a West End Showcase at the Criterion theatre in 2016.

In 2018, Jenny won The Jermyn Street Theatre's commissioning competition to write a contemporary response to Noel Coward's 'Tonight at 8:30' and wrote 'Glimpse' (receiving a 3 week run and 4 star reviews) and she is currently continuing work as director/ writer/ actor on international theatre piece, 'Cover Her', with composer Litha Efthymiou for performances in Helsinki in 2026.

When Jenny is not writing, directing or performing, she regularly works as an arts advisor and project manager in arts and educational settings, as well as sharing her skills in community based creative workshops and as a public speaking coach.
