Jenny Ayres - Writer, Director, Performer & Facilitator
Jenny's career as a playwright, director, actress and mask specialist, continues to be shaped by her diverse range of work across stage, screen and print.
Originally studying Drama and Education, at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and later specialising in New Writing and Physical Theatre at LISPA, Jenny greatly enjoys writing, directing, performing and teaching across the UK and Europe.
Jenny's play, Glimpse, completed a successful run at London's Jermyn Street Theatre in 2018 (receiving 4 star reviews and publication by Oberon) and Trouble and Strife, a WW2 play for a female ensemble, is also available from Unthank Books as part of 'Words and Women 2'.
Working as an actress, Jenny has played many roles from the comic to the tragic. 2020/21 saw Jenny return to the stage to play the roles of Boudica and Elizabeth I with theatre co, Trestle, as well as her on-going mask / physical theatre workshop facilitating for the company.
