Jenny Ayres - Writer, Actress & Movement Direction

Jenny's career, as a professional playwright, actress and movement specialist, continues to be shaped by her diverse range of work across stage, screen and print.

Jenny's play, Glimpse, completed a successful run at London's Jermyn Street Theatre in 2018 (receiving 4 star reviews and publication by Oberon) and Trouble and Strife, a WW2 play for a female ensemble, is also available from Unthank Books as part of 'Words and Women 2'.

Working as an actress, Jenny has played many roles from the comic to the tragic. 2020 saw Jenny return to the stage to play the roles of Boudica and Elizabeth I with theatre co, Trestle, with a filmed performance recorded in May 21, as well as her on-going mask and physical theatre teaching for the company.
